IF you where a billionaire/millionaire would you try and help you fellow humans in any meaningful way? For example funding better education for poor?
As I get older I would probably not. The more you start to realize how entitled and shitty human beings the average man is the less I care about them. I look around my friends and ask myself is this really what they want to do? all free time just slacking and watching tv. And always complaining about everything when in reality their problems are probably within themselves.
Been trying to improve myself soon one year, recently read the book Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz and I realized that the "common man" has no goal, nothing to really strive for. Why should I help him if he has put 0 effort to help himself at first?
here is a perfect example: One friend won 120k on a internet casino last summer. Instead of using that money to better himself, he quit his job and has just been sitting home gaming all days and wasting soon all of that on crap. New this new that and so on.
Conclusion: just getting handed free money wont make you happy/successful, you have to actually work on yourself for it.
