I have recently thought about dumping a lot of money into Palantir but here is what is stopping me

a) I don't REALLY understand what they do.
b) I don't REALLY understand how they'll make money. Just throught government contracts? Is that generally a profitable way to make money?
c) They are going direct listing, instead of there being an IPO. Employees will be able to dump their fund hards. Not sure if this really matters for the overall future price of the stock.

On the flip side, Peter Thiel is like the ultimate transhuman-bugman-weathy-capitalist-God Emperor there every could be.

Palantir IPO when?

when is this Palantir IPO happening? God Emperor Thiel can definitely have some of my money

what's a decent stock that I can a) hold long term and b) buy 100 such that I can sell covered calls. I'd ideally like to only dump a max of $10,000 into the stock, so a stock price of about $100/share is my max. tech stock preferably.
