How do you manage working 12 - 16 horus a day, every day of the week? Common advice for business owners / bankers / anyone with serious money is that you need to work 80+ hours a week to make a serious difference in the world & your finances, so how do you accomplish that while still living a fulfilling life?

I would also like to know. 99% of the people who talk about this on /biz/ seem to have a vague sense of "number go up, curve go inside out, bad thing happen" but their actual level of understanding is cargo cult-tier.
Not that I have any fucking idea either. Bond yield go up when demand drops. Fed hits target funds rates by buying and selling bonds to add/remove liquidity from commercial banks. How it all comes together is beyond me.

Is there any advantage to "hedging" trades in a single asset? Say for example I have 10k cash waiting to buy bitcoin at 15k. In the meantime I open a $500 long at 5x leverage to try to catch any small pumps in the meantime. Or conversely, holding 10k btc but opening a $500 short in case of dump.
My intuition says I could achieve the same risk/reward outcomes just by spot swing trading, but I've always liked to mess around with small leverage trades counter to my major positions. Is there any actual advantage to doing this or am I exposing myself to unnecessary risk?
