not quite. oil is going down because of a combination of:
1. china vacillating on lockdowns
2. we're on track for recession unless the fed does something (and even then they might actually force a recession regardless)
3. oil has been on an absolutely fucking insane move and because of #1 and #2 a lot of oil longs are liquidating and taking profit and looking for better entries
