I've got 230oz (+2 Coronacoins I'm keeping hold onto forever to commemorate) Sil, 5oz Gold. Not enough to really make any money off of shorting, so the conversion would be banking on Silver minus commission going above Gold come spike.

That's my main concern. If we were talking paperniggers, then shorting is obvious and easy, but you've got a bit more of a decision when you've got roughly a week inbetween purchases, and have to deal with premiums because you're not a dumb baka paperfag.
Plus, you're losing out on diversification, should both spike on different weeks (since they historically spike a few weeks.months apart during the megacrashes)
