they also gave out bonus LP shares since the sale reached around 750 eth/1000 goal

the gains were astounding
I'm sorry you're confused, but before you open your mouth and spread your mental mold in this thread do some serious research and crunch numbers to see for yourself

Ravencoin was really good, it still could be I'm not sure
to be honest I'm still mining ETH and have been on/off with it over the last year (relocated the rigs to a place where I don't pay electricity)
ended up mining a total of 24 ETH over the course of a little over 12 months
bought the rigs with BTC at the peak price of BTC (december 2017) and spent about 0.75btc at the time to scoop up all the equipment

For many, the focus is solely on Bitcoin, and the speculative and unstable market that surrounds this digital currency. The technology behind Bitcoin allowed for money to be sent securely by distributing the transaction to multiple parties to verify it. The transactions are added to digital ledger – the blockchain. However, these transfers are unregulated and operate outside of financial markets which vastly limits the potential of the currency.

The next phase was to apply this technology – the blockchain – to information other than financial currencies. If you could securely verify numerical data, why not other important information? This is how Ethereum became very valuable. The network first introduced advanced and readily usable smart contracts. These are contracts written to the blockchain and execute automatically if conditions are met. However, there is a major problem because we currently cannot trust information that comes outside of the blockchain.

This is what Chainlink is attempting to solve. If we can get secure information from outside sources into the blockchain (which again, is highly secure due to it multiple parties verifying transactions) then the true potential of smart contracts will be unleashed. You can think of the blockchain as a highway without on-ramps currently. We need to add external data: currency prices, weather data, stock prices.

Very nicely done with a two week window to build hype before launch as other partners announce.
