Just take out a loan with bitcoin as collateral to pay for living expenses. That way you can hold bitcoin whilst you enjoy your life. If bitcoin appreciates whilst you have the loan you pay off the loan and profit from it since it prevented you from selling your bitcoin.

Alternatively you could in 5-10 years from now lend out your bitcoin for interest risk free and live off the interest from it.

Even if you still have to sell some bitcoin to help buy a house or something you should consider these options to maximise how long you hold your bitcoins.

Wouldn't it just be fine to use bitcoin or ETH as the main game currency? Just like if you want to trade on bitmex you need to deposit BTC if you want to play the game and go against other players you need to deposit btc.
