Fucking gay. We should be pumping or at least stable with inflation sky high, and we would be if institutional investors were not so involved imo.
Now instead just because interest rates are rising, or even the idea of them rising causes BTC to plummet as its price action is now controlled by institutional investors who make up the volume. If they decide its a NASDAQ x3 then it is and BTC is now basically a more volatile stock as that is what institutional investors treat it as.

I firmly believe had this happened 5 years ago we would be either mooning sustained till inflation stopped, or at least steadily crabbing.

From what I understand it’s the only coin that wasn’t pre-mined and sold to investors/venture capital, it was just created and put out online and then people started mining it and using it and people all over the world decided it’s value overtime


Meanwhile every single other cryptocurrency other than bitcoin was put out but sold to venture capital and massively or fully pre-mined before launch

I’m just trying to wrap my head around why any other cryptocurrency should exist and why I should put money into anything other than bitcoin

Name one use the world has had so far for crypto currencies, excluding illegal transactions.

Not some hypothetical future use but an actual positive outcome that has occurred where a crypto currency offered some utility that wasn’t there before.
