Explain to me why web3 isn’t a meme. For what reason do site operators need publicly accessible distributed databases, smart contracts etc.? 99% of web sites don’t benefit in the slightest from any of the proposed bullshit. Seems like the whole thing is just a way to con people into buying shitcoins. Where are the actual, tangible benefits for businesses and users?
