It's how much market makers are absorbing price gains/losses, basically. The idea is that they act as a battery to an extent due to how dark pools work, and can only be so saturated before they can no longer absorb those changes effectively. This lowers GEX. GEX is basically the brakes on how much the price gets affected by buying and selling. Low gex means buying and selling will push the price around more due to how market makers work.

I want to make some money but I feel like a reckoning is coming in the market. It will always be much harder to gain back what you lose percentage wise, yet we're approaching February highs. 90% of people polled think that stocks are currently overvalued.

The only way this makes sense to me is if the crash was actually an overcorrection, and nothing was really affected at all.
