meme stocks have been dead for quite some time. should have got in while the gettin' was good. anyone smart knew as soon as robinhood (and other brokers) started banning people from BUYING, but not SELLING, meme stocks, it was over. they cheated. they won. take your profits and get over it. honestly, it would have been the MOASS if they couldn't cheat by banning people from buying, but they did. so it's over. trying being better at trading, like me. i literally sold in the premarket like i was part of the tribe even though im white as a sheet.

could be worse. i bought BTU at $18 and sold at $12 during that dip at the end of 2021 thinking it was over because China was fixing the coal prices at the time. i made a lot of bad decisions that year after i made $50k off of GME in all honesty, and lost all of it.

i have a great recession proof tech career and learned a ton about trading which ended with me actually being a profitable trader now, but that's still an experience im never going to forget. $50k was my life savings and then i doubled it in 2 days. then i lost it over the course of the rest of the year doing dumb cocky things. idk if you'd consider that an expensive education or a cheap one considering i basically just ended up at break even, but still. pain is the best teacher.

to be fair the play wasn't really when it was single digits, it was during the peak euphoria when it went to 160 and crashed down to like 80. that was the time to buy in for guaranteed gains. the time to get out was when RH announced banning normies from buying entirely.

i know because i timed it pretty perfectly. one of my peak achievements in life so far.
