I keep seeing mentions of FootCoin here on /biz/ but have no idea what it really is. I know it's a crypto, but what is it about? how much is it worth? where do people buy and sell it? with the price of Bitcoin dropping would now be a good time to buy some FootCoin?

Anyone else find it weird how this scamcoin is being promoted with porn-filled threads and posts, but none of the pictures are feet-oriented?

Like, I get it, you wanna pump and dump this shit, but at least have a theme.

I saw other threads about this, but I want to concentrate our efforts on understanding just HOW the bot is triggered.
Multiple anons have reported that it activates under certain conditions, but nobody has pinpointed them so far.

Times the bot activated:
>During 1 sat
Three times, after a 0.3btc order, after a bunch of small sub 0.1 buys and at the strike of the following hour
>During 2 sat
It never turned off, it's difficult to understand why since the constant buys from users threw off any sort of prediction
>During 3 sats
Twice, after a 0.16btc buy and after a very small 5k buy (might have been at the strike of the hour)

So, theories?
How can we use this?

Already asked this in a thread, but oh well

Does RDD have any system in place to limit growth and reduce inflation?

Right now my biggest concern with the coin is the fuckhuge supply, and the recently small price letting people ammass millions for pennies.
As soon as it hits any new barrier, you'll have people with nothing to lose off their $30 investment, but with a newfound dumping power of several hundred thousands.

I'm holding around 900k nought at 50 btw, I'm asking because I wanna know this bag's potential

Just think of a month ago.
People shilled XBY at 100ish SAT, making the threads about the static node architecture, the new blockchain tech, and why it could be successful
People shilled DGB at 100ish SAT, highlighting the gamer appeal, the nigh-monopoly they'd have, and the minecraft team connections
People shilled Lumens at sub-100, saying how the network could make the coin stand out

But what now?
Billions of threads shilling a coin "Because it'll pump", "Because this one is from a jew", "Because we can meme this"
And when there's a thread about a coin that's actually worth it, it's because it has already exploded past 500sat, when it's already too late to be an early adopter

I'm speaking about this as if it was years ago, but it was just three weeks in the past.
What changed?

How does receiving the tokens from ICOs work?
I know I have to set up an automatic transaction from Parity to get in first, but where are the tokens going to be sent?
The wallet sending the money is clearly an ETH one, and it's not like MEW where it just automatically stores all kinds of tokens, is it?

Look at a coin. Any coin.
Go up to the very start of the coin's trading history, and you will always find the same trend.
Initial price set.
Immediate sale plummeting to a minuscule fraction of the price.
Slow regrowth, often not getting back to the initial point before the medium-long term.

Why would you ever buy ICO instead of just scavenging for initial sales like a vulture and invariably make more money that way?

Does ANYONE know ANTYHING about working as a translator for Rev?
I have applied before checking Rev's abysmal reputation both from the customer and employee side, and since the Translator application is the only one without a test connected to it, I kind of got curious.

But I can't find anything.
Every single site like Glassdoor (and there's a shitton) only has dozens of reviews for captioner and transcriber jobs.
But I can't find a single person who has worked for Rev as a translator. Why?
Has anyone here ever had any experience with translating for them? Or knows why absolutely no one in years has ever written a review about it?
I mean, the reviews about the shit pay are discouraging, but it's par of the course for jobs that require no qualifications or skills.
Conversely, their 0.7c per word rate for translation is amazing for this kind of site, so I'm left wondering why there's absolutely zero reviews, good or bad.

My languages are Japanese, Italian and English, in case it matters.
