Should I feel bad for getting so much financial support from my parents? I’m 22 yrs old graduated this year and working a shitty 40k/year job. I save most of my paycheck as I have few expenses.

Also, my dad gives me the income from one of his rental properties. I help manage a little in terms of dealing with tenants but overall I barely put any work into it and never put any of my money into it whatsoever. Should I return the money or keep accepting it?

First time home buyer here, moving from city to small town. Found a perfect house for ~$230,000, unfortunately have to move in with my mom to afford it (I'm 25 so not a huge deal, and she plans on moving out down the line when she retires). The issue we're having is with the bank.

Recently a family friend died, and he left us $10,000 in his will. Unfortunately he wrote his will back in 1997 and there are a lot of holes in it, so his accounts have been put on probate, which means no money in or out. So ANOTHER family friend loaned us the 10k interest free, as long as he gets it back once the accounts are unfrozen. Cool so far.

So the bank approved the mortgage as far as we knew a few weeks ago and we started making plans to move out. However, starting yesterday, the bank is looking at our accounts and is real suspicious of that 10k. We told the truth and said it's from the second family friend who loaned it to us, but originally it was going to be coming from the dead family friend who willed it to us before accounts were frozen. The bank is asking for updated 90-day statements of the accounts due to a new "anti money laundering rule".

The closing day is November 1st. Thursday. Also the day we're supposed to start moving in. How fucked are we?
