How do you guys deal with /missingout/ and hindsight blues?

>have friend who I brushed off as a retarded WSB kid
>tells me to buy GME back when it was hovering around 30-40$
>wrote off as a meme, didn't know about the big shorts on it
>Finally see that shit is indeed happening
>manage to eek out about 8 shares around 120 before SHTF
>Might make out with 5 figures if super lucky. Aiming more realistically for about 7-8K and that's even a bit lofty
>Friend is gonna make almost 6 figures easily

Why didn't I listen? I could have thrown in 10K easy and bailed out when it hit 400+ for 6 figures.
