We also talked about Spanish Mountain Gold in the last thread. Bought it on Thursday; went up 30% on Friday, and I intend to keep holding. Highly incompetent management team, which caused it to be overlooked for a long time, but, after Don Durrett wrote an article about their gold in the ground, and Eric Sprott got involved shortly thereafter, the stock is soaring. It is highly speculative, but the time to get in, if ever, is now. People think that it may become the next FVL and go 34x.

"As we know, Eric Sprott had bought into SPA. I am hopeful that he will buy more. Eric Sprott has continued to mention the New Ounces In the Ground Paradigm for weeks now. Its forward looking based on a number of factors, the most important being the ascending POG in a super strong Bull Market. $60 an ounce in the ground, in Eric Sprott's reasoning, is way too cheap, especially considering the huge profitability that miners are making. ES says that $100 to $150 an ounce in the ground is what the value should be. Another factor is the size of the projects. There are actually very few large projects over 2 million ounces in the world, and many of them are in very bad neighborhoods. Using Sprott's reasoning and using a revamped number of 5 million oz (earlier PEA had 7 Mill Oz) and giving no value to the Phoenix Zone which has huge potential, 5 mill oz x $100 an ounce = $500 mill value on a Buy Out. At the present MC of $85 mill, the potential is a 6 bagger from here. Using Sprott's $150 an ounce were talking 10 bagger. Remember, Eric Sprott is forward looking. That's why he's a Billionaire."

Nobody can know for certain, which is why only 1% of one's net-worth should go into any one speculative stock. But there are often indications:

Drill results, however, are not the only thing which make a company go up. Some companies are already known to be sitting on enormous quantities of gold, and are simply neglected. SPA is one example of this. It was overlooked until recently, but, after Eric Sprott got involved, has already gone up 3.5x in a matter of days, and some people expect it to become the next FVL. Value investors find out about these companies and invest in them long before the herd rushes in.
