but american life is so atomized now. the real question we should ask ourselves here is, how do we get into better relationships and "teams" and whatnot? in the modern era, especially post-COVID which just made the problem even worse? i still don't trust women here, with the #metoo movement and 4th wave feminism (or whatever wave we're on) and "muh patriarchy muh oppressive men" shit, the false accusations of rape or abuse that destroy men's lives. scares the shit out of me. but hey like i said, maybe i can at least get that feeling of fulfillment through sports. i doubt i could ever get it through work.

so, anon, talk to me about this: in modern day America, who can you trust? how can you trust strangers, really? everything is so fucked up now. i don't want to get my life destroyed by trusting someone i shouldn't have. i don't want to be betrayed or cheated on or stabbed in the back. do i just need to go to a 3rd world country to get a real woman or what? but even they might try to rob me and leave me for dead in a ditch, who fucking knows? who can you trust?
