yeah many projects are switching and will switch to cosmos.
on top of that ETHERMINT is about to be launched from cosmos team soon bringing the EVM to cosmos, so all eth projects will be able to port their solidity code seamlessly and enojy way faster txn speeds less chain bloat lower fees and the added benefits of cosmos sdk and modularity brought by tendermint.

they sure did, they even wrote custom code and found a bug that allowed double spending, most cosmos devs have pretty much acknowledged sent, and most top cosmos validators will participate in sent main net
