Judging from the negligible amount of funds in which the Bank Term Funding Program has been utilized over time (picrealted), I harbor the guess that the need for emergency funding by small and regional banks (or anybody else eligible for the BTFP) has been grossly over-estimated by le media hype.
Means that silicon valley and the few other banks that went poof last year were indeed outliers mostly caused by incredible amounts of concentrated stupidity.
