it's not an economic theory it's geopolitics , we have reached clown world for real , milenials are being fucked by inflation , while boomers are terrified of deflation destroying the value of their bags.

Central banks want higher interest rates because they are out of tools , politicians want negative interest rates.

We reached peak clownification massive deficits yet we see deflation because economic factors are now causing generations to behave very differently, one generation fucked by inflation and not owning assets since 2008 , and another owning assets terrified of what will happen if their bags are not pumped.

Fact is they are out of tools to fix the system.

>deflation breeds political monsters. Trump and some of the more colorful leaders in EU are just the beginning if deflation persists.

Agree

>Inflation is viewed as good and desirable because you can inflate the debts away. That was the plan after 2008. With inflation the debt burden would have become manageable. But that didn't happen.

Peak keynsian retardation , some of those debt are pensions plans that if you inflate your population will revolt.
Also for the us it would mean losing the reserve currency status , debt is not the problem , liquidity is , lebanon , chile , argentina , india , turkey , china.

They are being fucked hard by lack of usd in the global trade system , the eu nations are still safe , affected by trade but thanks to the euro their monetary system is still safe.

Considering that my country is about to enter an hyperinflation era?
Seems like a good way to have some emergency income since electricity will be fucking cheap thanks to the inflation getting out of control.

Also btc is already overpriced with 10% arbitrage over international exchanges so cheap electricity and then 10% plus on income if sold as btc.

Anyone knows what type of income we can expect post randomX in monero mining?

I only mined btc for a few minutes in 2011 so no idea really about the dynamics involved but will be willing to learn.

Kek who are you anon , how much Monero you have?
I know that Monero is more advanced than btc but there is no liquidity of monero in argentina.

Only btc and a litle bch is found in the local markets atm , unless monero has something like localbitcoins or bisq i find it hard that it grows in the local market for the time being.

Eventually due to it's low inflation it will but it's hard to get monero from here.

it's not shilling , normies are speaking of dai since many considered to buy tether to bypass the capital controls and others started to say that dai was better.

>>16143711
Sure we can just do a 1 sat fee and it will go in an hour , btc has not bottlenecked since bch is taking users when it does since most payments go through bitpay that use both coins.

The problem is that local liquidity is always disappearing and we are now disconnected from global exchanges.

And by the way you can buy crypto , argentina is full of exchanges and localbitcoin is also full of traders.

The government is terrified of people using crypto to do arbitrage

Use credit card > buy crypto > sell crypto for usd in cash > earn money

They won't be able to stop it anyway , crypto has made capital controls unuseful.

I always realized that bitcoin made capital controls unuseful since it became strong in 2015-2016.

But now as the crisis unfolds in argentina i realized that it will also destroy the banking system and credit cards.
Basically anyone can bypass capital controls and buy cryptocurrency online , then you resell the crypto for usd back in argentina.

Basically you can do that until the central bank reserves go to 0 and people will 100% do it once the spread becomes bigger.

This will unironically destroy credit cards since they can't work without central banks and eventually the central bank reserves will go to 0 if people do this.

This is absurd but is what's going to happen credit cards will need to be banned to make capital controls work , but if they are banned people will only be able to do purchases with crypto.
In short cryptos are going to bring down the credit cards here , i can't believe this shit , buy btc we will go to the fucking moon next year.
