I read about 10-30% of millionaires have inherited money and are not self-made. However, the studies measure inheritances and not gifts! My former boss got a $1M gift from his mother at age 35 and he would probably count as self-made millionaire.

Where can I find net worth that excludes people that come from rich families? Or net worth in comparison to parent wealth?
