Hey man, I've got 80k Link and I need cash, but don't want to sell. Give me an estimate of when we hit $20, $50, and $100?

And thanks for providing a good Link thread and putting up with all the jeets and ESL monkeys.

I believe you know what you're talking about, but did you really sell your whole stack?

That's fucking scary if you're wrong one time and it takes off without you. Fuck. I just play with 1-2k of my 50k stack and that still makes me nervous. These are golden fucking tickets bro.

Also, make a trip. I will listen next time if you're right. Thanks

We'll hit $30 within 24 hours after the conference and a steady climb to triple through the last third of the year.

When will biz stop posting mentally ill faggots. It's not funny. It turns my stomach every time I have to look at one of these monsters.

Also, my sister makes 150k/year for counting pills. The biggest part is checking that some old geezer didn't get prescribed two different medications that don't mix and will kill the person. So I guess that might be a little stressful and require continued learning, but other than that Doctor's have to know and do a lot more.

No idea brother. My guess is with the Q1 2021 larpers. After holding 2.5 years it doesn't matter to me anymore. I can wait another 2.5 years to get where I want to be. I'm sure there are going to be plenty of nice surprises between now and Q1.

Wrote this to be used in conjunction with that nice Chainlink shill post that has been circulating here recently.

Blockchain: a digital ledger that stores information. It secures the data through a decentralised system which distributes the data to multiple sources. Whereas previously a bad actor could change/hack data at a single point of weakness, now the data is stored at multiple data locations which greatly enhances security.
Smart contract: a digital agreement that executes agreements based on information from the blockchain with IF=THEN statements. eg. IF "USD is more than AUD$1.20 on 31/6/18" THEN "transfer USD$100 to John Smith". These contracts are deterministic - that is to say that the contract *will* execute if the requirements are met. This has massive implications for weakers actors in contracts. Previously more powerful actors could coerce or intimidate (through legals avenues) weaker actors despite the conditions of a legal contract being meet. It can also greatly reduce costs for businesses by removing middle men.
Oracle: a system to bridge data from the "real world" to the blockchain.

The current issue is that information that is not on the blockchain (for example, the current price of GBP or the temperature in Tokyo) has no secure and reliable way to be accessed. While the blockchain is very secure, the information required from outside it is not. Without secure access to this data, the enormous potential of smart contracts is highly limited as they are essentially confined to the data in the blockchain ecosystem.

Chainlink will solve this by bridging information from outside the blockchain in a highly secure manner. It will do this in a decentralised manner - using the same logic of the blockchain - by validating the data from multiple sources before adding this information to the blockchain. It is vitally important for this information to be validated as due to the fact that smart contracts execute in a deterministic manner.
