yeah you would be like a tor relay node, they have no problems, only exit nodes might have problems, also there are some VPS provider which might offer to take care of dmca request for you , so even exit nodes might be safe if you choose the proper provider (not difficult to find)
also keep in mind that one of sentinel main selling point is for legacy vpns to attach their infrastructure to sent network to get more customers and allow their users to use the relay net, imagine being able to bounce your traffic:
mullvad node >user node > expressvpn node >user node > tor
if even one of those is honest you are completely safe and you can add as many nodes as you want to improve security (dishonest nodes that change software would get disconnected from the network anyway)
