I think it's hilarious that young fags here think that anyone in their 40s who doesn't have 1 Million in net worth is retarded. Most of us boomers fell into the wagecuck trap, life's trappings, keeping up with the Jones and consumerist society deathtrap.

To their credit though a lot of 20somethings have gotten redpilled/blackpilled early so in many ways they are going to be much better than most of us boomers. The problem is half of the 20somethings are also half retarded thinking crypto is a panacea for all financial problems. Unless crypto really gains mass adoption, you still need a decent career, save, own a small place and have most of your portfolio in some index funds hopefully having the benefits of 401K, IRA, HSA retirement accounts to keep the government from robbing you a bit less.

I sold my house, broke up with my fiancee and bought a small townhouse in 2016 that is almost paid off by crypto. I have about $350K portfolio besides that and have gotten laughed at by /biz for being a retard for having so little at 45. But I myself always get a laugh at minimum wagecucks here thinking crypto is going to make them millions in a few years so I am here for the entertainment, keeping pulse on this generation and dropping some sage rational financial advise every now and then.
