YF Moonbeam offered us payment in exchange for screenshots of our testing Paranode on Moonbeam Pre-Alpha. They wanted us to create fake yfMoonbeam testing results.They wanted to portray themselves as a “moonbeam” project, and show false proof that they were doing work on their own Paranode.

Instead of giving them fake screenshots of our own working Paranode, we offered to help them set up their own testing environment so they could conduct their own tests. We set it up for them, in good faith. We did not even ask for payment. A few days later they reached out again, saying they could not figure out how to run their tests on Moonbeam. Again, they insisted to buy fake screenshots customized for their project from us, instead of doing their own development.

We declined to sell them these screenshots for obvious reasons. Shortly after, we were approached by one of their influencers, who has a large twitter following. This influencer asked us to provide fake screenshots of a YF Moonbeam testing on Pokadot substrate. In exchange for these fake requested screenshots, this well known influencer offered to shill our project on his twitter account. It became clear to us that this influencer was working with YF Moonbeam as well. We declined his offer. We realized that this influencer and YF Moonbeam both wanted to get falsified screenshots in order to help YF Mooneam fake testing progress and technical ability.
