28m here. Covid forced me to move home with the folks, which allows me to save lots of money month to month. I’m living in metro detroit area and am in the market for a home that I can live in for a few years (5-10).

I’m emotionally ready to buy a home, but want to time the market as best I can. I decided I didn’t want to continue renting while living in the city, and planned to focusing on saving for a home. I don’t have the stomach for 20%, but I also don’t plan to live in the house for very long. 5-10 years max. Should I look to buy and take advantage of the low interest rates? Or rent and wait for the housing market bubble to burst?

I have the luxury of time on my side since I’m single with no obligations other than student loan debt. Would love your thoughts on my following options: 1: buy a house now, taking advantage of low rates. Likely live in it for a few years and either sell or rent out 2: rent an apt and wait out the government “prop up”. My research on experts predict a possible dip in 2021 (although there’s lots of speculation on both sides) 3: live with my parents and wait out the government “prop up” (least favorite option. Like I said, single 28m.)

/biz/ i was a retard and new to crypto during the '17-18 golden bull. im still holding several coins that lost 90%+ value and to me look like they're trending to zero like nano, icx

i'm starting to believe many of these coins are all scams and trending to zero. it seems only top 10 coins are perhaps not scams.

so am i supposed to eat the losses and "sell the bottom" before they actually hit zero?

icx hit +10% today and thinking of just finally offloading

wondering what /biz/ thinks to do with coins that lost 90%+ and look like they're going to 0

Hey anons. Has anyone here rethought their career plans going forward? What are your options now? Not really sure about what to do anymore. I'm currently in Finance, specifically M&A for a boutique Investment Bank. There hasn't much deal flow lately. I'm thinking tech or anything to do with distressed situations might be interesting.

>MBA
Traveling seems to be more difficult going forward. Spending USD 100k+ on an online MBA seems like a total waste of resources.

>Big Banks, Consulting
Already on a downtrend prior to the crisis but I feel like this will accelerate going forward.

>PE Funds, Asset Management, VC, general buy-side
I don't know how the investment climate is going forward. Are people liquid? Do people still have capital?

>Working in other countries
I personally expect less globalization going forward and it might be tougher to move unless you have solid vetting.
