>I don't think you understand how supply works.
Demand is a constant pressure, some companies in many different countries buy BTC every month. You guys have a hard time seeing how much resources are tied into BTC's network and the value in that. Bitcoin's buys in $ is always number 1. The market isn't buying forks and their forks, they'll just buy BTC and wait 20 years and see how many airdrops and forks they get.

It's human nature to experience greed and chase profit. When BTC cut's new supply, the amount of buyers probably isn't going down. 50% less new BTC have to find a home, when the market eats the available ones at that price, it goes up.

This usually creates a cycle of excitement, attention and fomo. Maybe human's lose greed and BTC stops drinking everyone's milkshake, I doubt it

Some of us make money doing this

>Demand is due to utility. Function
>I think adoption is most important and if you look at strictly utility, eth is more useful
To you or dapp programmers, ETH is more useful.

Some people will never be able to buy stocks on their salary.
Some countries bailout bankers more often than us.
Some people read about the DAO hack and never trust ETH again and BTC's security and history are most important for usage.

I'm putting important money into crypto, most of it has to go to BTC out of safety reasons.

Some of you go 100% in your coin when it's a low cap. I admire the bravery but I saw shitcoins taking BTC bear season worse. Seemed obvious to me at the time

You're right and it's just the tip. The Banks massive databases and brick buildings out number BTC mining farms.

This energy consumption stuff is tether level BTC FUD, these people probably hold BTC forks.

if gold was easier to store, buy, trade, more popular and on it's way up in price discovery mode, I would buy as much gold as BTC. It's a smart buy too but how many billions of ounces of gold exist? only 21 million BTC will ever and I know I have to get a few. Doesn't take many like me to constrict supply
>>15750741
>what are the fundamentals though
the fundamentals are a 24/7 digital global network, 21 million ever, transparent and programmed dis-inflation, low barriers to entry on the BTC side of the trade on the USD or fiat side the fundamentals are monetary policy designed to pump the whole market.
BTC only pumps more than most assets because of it's scarcity. It's a flow of fiat that won't be turned down soon, central banks could kill BTC by prolonged tightening of the money supply, all risky assets would suffer and they don't have the discipline to do it though
more users use BTC, sone alts will have more traffic or accounts but less users. It's not very close and most things I've read don't account for multiple addresses. The airdrops on the smart contract platforms give the appearance of many more users

>frag is only thing i can see doing 10x in next few months
this fucking coin keeps going up, I should have put my buy orders higher. Things like this have utility with deflation, these tokens are only copying BTC store of value properties. Drug users love privacy coins, computer and gaming geeks love smart contract platforms and economic geeks like these little things. Each one of these cryptos takes something of BTC's and improves on it but none of them have BTC's total package
