IPOs dump hard even when they turn out to be good after a year. CHWY was as high as $40 on its IPO. Even facebook dumped hard after its IPO.
I don't touch IPOs but what I do remember is that you usually want to enter only after 6 months or so once the early investors (whatever you call them again) are allowed to dump their shares.

+10% is nothing after a bunch of us gambled on chinese PnDs for easy +100% on gambling money, and frankly the downside potential on playing chinese pnd's and IPOs are pretty much the same
