one could argue that Trump is this generations version of JFK because of media

>people who listened to presidential debate thought Nixon was the much better candidate
>people who watched the same debate on TV thought JFK was a much better candidate

fast forward to today

>people who watched the debate on TV seemed to think that Hilary was the better candidate
>people who followed along with twitter/internet seemed to think that Trump was better

>establishment and old media (TV) absolutely hate new president Trump
>but ((the internet)) loves him

he and JFK match up as candidates in many other ways too (rich inheritance, massive net worth, outsider, ectera), but the media thing has really jumped out at me since 2016
