I've used it for anonymous donations and such. Wallet software is easy to use, and XMR donation addresses are about as common as BTC addresses these days. The real proof that it wasn't a meme was when the DEA killed AlphaBay and couldn't uncover the amount of XMR transacted.

XMR is unironically the only real privacy coin

No coin is going to ever be considered real money by any legit economist except Monero because it's FUNGIBLE. Not all Bitcoins are created equal, some are blacklisted, some are better than others. All XMR is created equal because privacy is default and mandatory.

There is one digital currency and that's XMR. Everything else is NOT money. Fiat currency is money because it's fungible. All dollars must be accepted, no dollars can be blacklisted, just like XMR.

Prove me wrong. Privacy and fungibility are the 2 most important properties of money.

Is it better than Monero?

A true privacy coin must be impossible to send transparent transactions otherwise you can be forced to send transactions without privacy by the State. This is why Monero is king because privacy is default and mandatory, making XMR 100% fungible and MORE private because more transactions are mixed, making it harder to detect. The less mixed transactions the easier it is for detection.
