You guys understand that money is 100% the reason you're unhappy/happy right?
You don't need fuckloads of it, but you do need to feel like you're capable of participating in society and not regressing, which is what most of you (us?) probably are because of inflation.

~$5k. been on for a year, fren. Started lurking /biz/, frustrated and feeling helpless, to flip my life around. I was flat broke and had my credit accounts maxed.
I started with $20, and little by little, with the right trades and luck, I made it to this bullrun almost five-grand in the green. I had to deal with the same 2020 everyone else had to, but on top of that: two close family deaths (not kungflu related), my favourite relative got cancer, I got cancer (beat it), the business I registered early in March was immediately put on hold by kungflu, my business partner flaked because they wanted to have kids, and admissions closed to the prestigious doctoral program I was offered.
Sure, there are some people actually dying or living out of their car, but fuck I pushed hard this year and I didn’t need a fucking username to bellyache about my problems to drum up sympathy, or upvotes to reward my success. If $5k in a year from nothing is Reddit, than sign me up for a lifetime supply of onions and HRT
