Essentially, the pattern i have noticed which the biggest LINK "defenders"(because i dont want to say holders as it implies all holders are like this)have basically descended into extreme conjecture, magical thinking, and almost abandoned all objectivity.

Any rational discussion on anything Chainlink related, which is NORMAL for an investment - to review what is good, bad what might be a problem, what IS good, and IS bad, etc....is not done by these few anons anymore.

Instead, ALL they do when presented with these considerations and facts, is something along the lines of:
>"yeah but what if XYZ i happening in the background and we dont know?"
>"you dont know what is happening behind the curtain!!"

It ALL boils down to this attitude and response to anything and everything. its pathetic honestly. I think these people legitimately think Sergey and Chainlink can do no bad, have made perfect decisions on everything, are fully in control of some ulterior motion for society, continue to act "according to the plan" - which is going flawlessly down to every single micro decision or something.

I cant believe these people consider themselves investors. the "fudders" are way more rational at this point if not a bit angry and disappointed - but these "defenders" never communicate in good faith anymore - the closest you get is those attitudes i described about if not complete dismissal, refusal to discuss or insults.
Remember the low effort fud for years? like one liners and insults? thats literally ALL the people who defend LINK do now, i have noticed while the only effort posting is by "fudders".
If i ever see any effortposting by defenders, it is always some lame essay about life in general, questioning the character of people who are critical of their investments and inviting some more magical thinking.

I was building an NFT generator with LINK functions and random generator which essentially gave a hash on different porn videos and if a certain actor or acts were done you had a chance of getting an NFT minted into a wallet.

Apparently this was not allowed for no clear reason. I was banned from participating. Fuck them.

There are less and less people like this every month, but the language is striking.

I've noticed a lot of new anons coming to this board lately since the google pump.Link is HEAVILY shilled here, so it's important to have this information so you can make sense of it all.
4chan shills it as an inside joke. Decentralised oracles are not talked about anywhere else because data sources are still centralised in the end. It's literally adding an extra complicated layer with no value. 4chan is just obsessed with it because it perfectly exemplifies unnecessary complexity in "solving" problems that don't exist. In his end of year announcement the CEO said that node operators are going to be paid in cold hard cash, so it's not even clear what the token is for.

Nulinkers who don't know Chianlinks history should read this... 4chan were shilling it hard 2 years ago. They encouraged South Asian internet cafe dwellers to buy it (will bring you out of poverty etc) and the price will pump 10x.

The SAs bought in, the price went up, and then they saw a massive dump occurring on Binance. They asked 4chan for advice. A 4chan poster told them that if they all withdrew their LINK tokens to a wallet that the dump would stop. They withdrew and it kept dumping. This caused a lot of animosity between the two groups.
The South Asian holders got pissed at the 4chan guys. Lots of racist remarks followed. The SAs vowed to get revenge by using the same playbook. This might explain the recent shilling.

Just because half of you have no experience with tech at all and blindly hold this without knowing. Link is nothing but a fucking .Json Parser. It's literally irrelevant, and any functional blockchain with smartcontract functionality can whip up their own in hours.

Thats why none give a crap about Link, it's trivial for them to do after they complete the hardwork of smart contracts.

Link has been the only coin constantly shilled and fudded since 10 months ago non stop, every single day all day. even today its the only coin being shilled while biz is fucking dead. Nobody is paying people to shill this unlike other coins, that much we know at the very least due to the way the team operates.

It is literally the only coin that has survived this entire crash and still has people enthusiastic about it even when they have never seen much gains on it, while constantly fudded.

It acts as a intermediary, a middleware as Sergey says himself. You put dollars in, LINKs go to nodes, and you get information out.
