It was shib, before it got listed on kikebase. I even offered to show them how to buy it and set them up with a metamask. They said weed was a better investment than crypto.

Only so many things that matter. And unless you work for a FAGMAN developing AI in the US. Better start learning to do shitty webapps if you like eating. Either that or make vidya and deal with that abuse. I can’t speak for places outside of Burgerland. But there isn’t much demand for programmers outside of unfortunately doing gay webapps. And even then the barrier to entry is retarded. Don’t fall for the coding meme unless you truly love this stuff. And a lot of the job/s you’re going to have to do right out the gate are going to be the shitty webapp or you’ll be stuck doing css despite all your skills being in backend. This is the reality of the industry.

Feels like I died several years ago and now just my body remains like a zombie I walk around and every day it's like a blur, no emotions, no highs, just waiting around to die. Without the prima materia my body has been slowly withering away and I can already feel my organs starting to fail. I also quit all stims and drugs last year and now there is this type of calm that's taken over me like when you know it's over and there is nothing left to say or do because the inevitable draws near.

As soon as people / property investors either start to default on their mortgages due to rising interest rates or runaway inflation happens.

The Canadian dollar is highly tied to the US dollar since each province does more trade with the US than with the rest of Canada. Almost all of our retail prices are based in US dollars and whatever the current exchange rate is. As such, we are almost forced to match or exceed the US' interest rates to keep our purchasing power.

If the Canadian dollar begins to lose to the USD, then we will have runaway inflation during which people won't be able to buy cars, food, etc. We're feeling a little bit of that now but it's only low income people really feeling the heat since affordable housing is drying up and purchasing power of necessity commodities is losing big.

Our mortgage terms are a lot shorter than the US so we'll feel the immediate consequences of high interest rates a lot quicker than the US. Average mortgage term is about 5 years, so since interest rates have hiked a bit, we largely haven't felt their effect on the market. At the same time, real estate is being upheld with 1 million plus new people in Canada a year with a small population, which is like 5x what similar economies like Australia are doing.

We are due for a crash, it's just hard to say which way it will go and how much more time the government can buy. It's insane how poor the average Canadian is since we are richest country on earth per capita due to our geography and resources. The mismanagement of resources and corruption is insane.
