How many happy couples do you know that "took a break" then got back together and lived long and happy marriages? Probably zero.

I'm sorry anon. Don't worry though, take solace in the fact that while she is almost certainly getting airtighted by two random guys from the bar or 'friends', it wasn't gonna work out anyway.

The sooner you move on, the better.

Listen, just lie about your experience. Put a defunct or outright false company on your resume, use your friend as a reference. Use the job description (reworded) or pick out keywords to use to describe your previous responsibilities.

Make a customized resume and cover letter for each job, however, if you spend more than 10 mins doing so it isn't worth it.

The real way to get a job is unironically through knowing somebody, I walked into a firm last week and there was a guy I worked with 3 years ago and I was immediately hired even though my experience wasn't exactly in the same field.

Other than nepotism, it is simply a numbers game. Keep pumping those apps out. Good luck.

Should I spend 1000 LINK on high fashion clothes to impress her? What do?
