Disagree.
>100% of government spending will be interest payments, sorry but that is a big deal
they will be collecting trillions in taxes and providing ZERO government programs in return(including a military)
Agree. But not as much as you think.
The answer towards fixing the debt problem *is* already at play. The only "problem" about the solutions is that they require multi-decadal *frontrunning* to see the forests that bear fruits.
Solutions? Population growth, which requires at least 14 years (legal working age with permission). Technological growth, which is exemplified by the innovator's dilemma (S-Curve problem). Brain drain growth, which requires a massive difference in standards of living compared to the foreigner's mother country (housing, education, public services and commodities, manufacturing, life extension). Mars (pinnacle goal, sand-box mode achieved for whoever reaches here first). Market-based education (youtube, but unironically). Energy independence (America already achieved this, and is in fact the largest EXPORTER of energy, now imagine nuclear which is already at play too). Food independence (already achieved too, largest exporter of certain kinds of food). As for the dollar, namely its reserve status? Notice the cr*pto ETFs? What do you think is the next stage? All of these are multi-decadal.
