Really helps you notice some patterns. Some general reading on /x/ occult shit helps as well, since a lot of the upper parasites seem to be really into an occult worldview. Pay attention to what various occult/magical worldviews say about the importance of focus, consent, belief, manipulation of language, etc in ritual, and think about how that translates to things that happen in our world and the media presentation of it.
