They're really a dime a dozen, I believe Maker MKR is one of the best value propositions in all of crypto.

Vital usecase (longing, lending etc)
Safe moat (not so easy to fork DAI)
Deflationary token (not LP tokens or 80% of the tokens to be dumped by team over the next 24 months)
Consistently growing TVL, just check the amount of Ether locked over its history, its a continuous uptrend.

Other than Ether I think MKR is the soundest token to invest in, any other bros wanna chime in?

It's the US dollar except it's actually backed by something. DAI is only created when a collateralized debt position is taken.

You can only open a cdp against ETH and BAT, but they are planning to incorporate other coins in the future. Wrapped Bitcoin, etc.

Bitcoin's biggest surge was when silk road and dark money were realized.

The same thing is going to happen with citizens in third world countries converting their hyper inflated currency into Dai, the usd pegged stablecoin.

Mark Zuckerberg tried to capture this market with Libra, but an asset backed stablecoin only works if the asset's governance is decentralized. Dai is minted when people collateralize ETH and soon BAT and Wrapped Bitcoin. Maker is an insane opportunity allowing you to lock any asset and mint a usd stablecoin that is backed by assets.
