Rather than hold onto GME would not the better choice have been to sold at the peak, then have everyone collectively dump all their money into AMC to drive up the price? That would have affected an entirely different line of capital in their building and pissed off entirely different accounts that trust them with their money. Wouldn't the smartest thing to do to just keep dumping gains into companies Melvin has shorted? At a certain point the enemy will adapt to your strategy that is public information (HOLD) and you thus have to change what you're doing.
