Sup guys, I'm back. Haven't been able to my meager stack of ~50oz of silver for the past two paychecks due to bills and projects. Me and the mrs. are trying to stock up on enough groceries to last us through the winter, cause we're weird, I guess.

I other news, gold salts that had been used for decades for various rheumatological conditions (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis (I have this), lupus, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and Sjorgren sndrome) have been found to accumulate into the lysosomes of various cells throughout the body. This is suboptimal, as when they accumulate like this, this means that they are no longer doing their job relieving inflammation. Another interesting thing happens as well. As most ionic gold medicines were injected, patients occasionally got blue spots on them when the injection sites were exposed to sunlight or lasers. This is actually the gold in the lysosomes being crystallized into gold nanoparticles. While this staining is permanent, it is harmless, physically at least.
>what does this mean though?
If you've ever done any research into nanoparticles being used for cancer research or medicine research, you know that governments are iffy about them. You may also know that so far, only four are in active trials (phase 1 and 2), 3 of which are for the same cancers. Since gold salts are already approved for treatment since the turn of the 20th century, these can then be used, or even injected DIRECTLY into tumors, then crystallized into nanoparticles, who then can be used with a different laser to destroy said tumors. This is useful as Gold nanoparticles are often not well absorbed by tumors due to their properties, whereas ionic gold is very well absorbed by cells.
