Bank lending out credit creates most of the "money" that's in existence, when debt that created credit out of thin air is paid off, that portion of m2 stops existing.

Yeah the canada situation probably woke up a bunch of people that they shouldn't trust the banks. Also in kazakhstan they tried to lock people out of their accounts if they didn't take the "vaccine". That turned out really badly, with the population setting government buildings on fire, tearing up police stations and taking their gear. The government quickly gave up.
Personally I like to have some cash for emergency use, but during the lockdowns I withdrew far too much, and ended up with 20K in 50-euro notes. Can't legally buy gold or silver with it in this cucked land, so I've been slowly using it for supplies, canned food, etc. And when the stores get firewood this fall, I'm going to buy a ton of that (literally).
