In this course a certified Blender Trainer will teach you how to make a high quality, industry-standard character.

Blender being free and open source means anyone can choose to give "lessons" on anything. Same rule of thumb applies here as everywhere else: If they can't produce the good shit they can't teach you the good shit.

If you don't think the standards are up to snuff, make your own certification.

>you should have a basic understanding
Basically, he's going to skip over everything you don't understand, and you're still going to be stuck at the stage of making the front portion of the face with no idea how to connect it all up

Another tutorial to make money and not give you a flexible understanding

Udemy is honestly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to paid tutorials and courses, it's not really just a Blender problem.

You should t expect to become a master from watching any tutorial or course.

Repeating and iterating what youve learned for hundreds or thousands of hours of practice makes you better.

I think some of these guys make tutorials like this to discourage anyone entering the industry. Make it as shitty as possible. You get paid by noobs and they get discouraged from trying to take your other work. Being "godlike" is not really as hard as it seems people just keep their good workflows to themselves and trick other people who don't know better into thinking they're god.

This. After you have a literal wake up on your own you realize all the payed tutorials are only good for basic stuff and occasionally slip glimpses of how its done.

These tutorial merchants are exploiting you the industry is more like the secret hunter exam in hunter x hunter.

Basically you are supposed to learn on your own how to get your nen powers despite having a meaningless certificate. Or people just want to keep their position and will spread lies.

Or utter trash artists teach others how to be trash like them for money.
Or they milk the tutorial train by keeping you hooked on needing more tutorials.
