It most likely is a money laundering scheme for most.
I doubt the artists know the buyers, that doesn't really matter if this is just about tax evasion.
It has some resemblance to contemporary art market money schemes but def is different, and even less regulated.
This all will trigger a financial investigation, I'm sure of it. The NFT boom will not be without consequences.

Yet, the money is real.
It always perverse seeing this much money flowing around while most of us live minimum wage or the eternal lie of a middle class.
